Congratulations on your engagement! I’m here to make choosing your wedding cake a stress-free and unforgettable part of your journey. With your vision at the heart of every design, I create bespoke cakes that perfectly complement your celebration.

We ensure a seamless, effortless experience from consultation to delivery.

Once your date and venue are set, get in touch via email or my website. I’ll respond within 48 hours, ask a few questions about your wedding and cake vision, and provide a tailored price guide for your modern wedding cake.

To secure your date, a £150 non-refundable deposit confirms your booking, alongside our T&Cs. We’ll then connect via Zoom to explore your wedding vision — from flavours and colours to textures and design details. After our consultation, I’ll create digital sketches and a personalised quote, bringing your modern wedding cake concept to life.

Next, the tasting experience. For wedding cakes over £600, a complimentary Signature Tasting Box is sent to your home, offering a selection of my favourite flavours. Boxes are posted quarterly, or if you’d like to sample before booking, they can be purchased for £40 (plus P&P) via my website or by emailing info@theorchidkitchen.co.uk

Six weeks before your wedding, we’ll have a final call to confirm details and settle your balance. In the week leading up, I’ll coordinate with your venue and florist to ensure everything flows smoothly. On the day, I’ll arrive on time to set up your cake, add final styling touches, and provide allergen and cutting instructions — leaving you free to enjoy every moment. Venue setup usually takes 1–1.5 hours. Travel is charged at £0.60 per mile (from Leeds) plus £15/hour, included in your personalised quote. Venue setup usually takes 1–1.5 hours.
