Food has always been at the heart of my life.
I grew up in Poland, where meals were made from scratch and shared with love — dumplings at the table, jars of jam for winter, pots of stew simmering while stories were told. That early connection to food shaped everything I do, especially my love for baking.
After moving to Wales to study criminology and languages, I soon realised my heart belonged in the kitchen. What began as an escape became a calling — from my first role in a professional kitchen to leading the pastry section at Michelin-starred Ynyshir, where I learned precision, creativity, and respect for ingredients.
A single wedding cake changed everything. The emotion, the artistry, the beauty — I knew I’d found what truly felt like me. And so, The Orchid Kitchen was born.
Now based in Yorkshire, I create modern, elegant wedding cakes for couples who value design, flavour, and meaning. Inspired by nature, art, and texture, each cake is crafted to tell your story — never ordinary, always personal. For those who dream bigger, I also design full dessert and grazing tables that transform sweet moments into centrepieces of flavour and beauty.
Alongside my business, I teach part-time and balance life with family — taking on a limited number of weddings each year to give every couple the attention they deserve.
